Denver Eras Tour Weekend Recap
As we arrived in Denver, were brimming with excitement. I spent the morning working so right off the plane we caught a free train ride to Union Station - a part of their "Zero Fare for Better Air" campaign, which included free train rides for the entire month of July and August. I set up shop on my laptop and got to work in Union Station while we waited for an early brunch at the much-recommended Snooze.
Not long after we made our way to The Acoma House, a recently opened boutique hotel, with each room featuring design and concepts by a local Denver artist. Conveniently located right in the heart of the city we were able to take a cheap Uber ride, and the owner was kind enough to text us and let us know that we were able to check in early including all of our information.
The Acoma House's central location made our journey a breeze, allowing us to easily access Denver's most vibrant neighborhoods throughout our stay. Our first day, we visited the vintage store around the corner and got Illegal Pete's for dinner.
In a moment of true spontaneity, we found out that Paramore was playing at the Ball Stadium and we had to get tickets! We ended the night at Blush & Blu, the local lesbian bar (and the biggest one we’ve seen yet!)
During our stay, we couldn't resist exploring Denver's vibrant art scene beyond the walls of our mural-filled hotel. We ventured down the block to the Denver Art Museum, where we were enthralled by the captivating "Desert Rider" exhibit.
Of course, we came to town, like many others in Denver that weekend, to see none other than the Taylor Swift Eras Tour at Mile High Stadium. We worked tirelessly the week leading up to this trip on our outfits.
