Outdoor Lunch at Il Bambino, Astoria
Craving paninis, we did what needed to be done in Astoria this weekend. We went out to Il Bambino where we indulged in bread and cheese galore.
Nestled into 31st Ave, Il Bambino is a hidden gem that promises a delightful culinary journey. This creative panini restaurant effortlessly combines innovative flavors, charming ambiance, and attentive service, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
This visit left us craving for more of their unique panini offerings. To start, we couldn't resist indulging in their homemade mozzarella sticks, perfectly crispy on the outside with fresh marinara. The burst of flavors continued as we sampled the grilled seasoned pesto bread, where the fragrance of basil and the richness of the grilled bread danced harmoniously.
Accompanied by the gentle sunshine, we chose to sit outside and sipped on refreshing passionfruit mimosas, the perfect companion to a leisurely weekend brunch. The highlight of our meal for me was undoubtedly the "Tree Hugger" panini. Bursting with hearty ingredients, including scrambled eggs, rosemary potatoes, roasted mushrooms, goat cheese, and a decadent truffle spread, each bite was a symphony of flavors.
Il Bambino is an instant new favorite for us in Astoria. From the unbelievable pesto bread to the delectable "Tree Hugger" panini, the menu alone is full of so many options we could hardly choose.
